There are two things to know about me. The first is that I believe in the power of women. A strong woman — my mother — reared me to believe I was unique with my own set of talents and gifts that no one else had. I have always known that one of the reasons I am on this earth is to help other women find their divine identity and purpose. Just as my mother believed in my potential and individuality, I believe each woman has a unique beauty and style that is all her own.
The second thing is that my mother spent a lot of my childhood lamenting that I preferred a pickup game of basketball or baseball over being “ladylike.” If given the choice, I would rather play outside than with Barbies. If there was an opportunity to play cops and robbers instead of beauty shop, well, you know which one I picked.
It might seem strange, then, that someone with my background would care about beauty products. But former tomboy and all, I like feeling pretty. When I’m having a good hair and makeup day, it’s a little boost of confidence for me before walking out my door to face the day.
It is natural for us to want to feel like we look our bestl. That final mirror check each morning reminds us that we have a place in the world, and a unique role. When we feel good about ourselves, we are more ready to take on the world.
This stuff works. I am not a salesperson by nature; I just like sharing things that work, and this does. The first treatment I did, I immediately noticed fewer wrinkles, and firmer skin. Why wouldn’t I want to share something with other people that makes me feel awesome?
I’d be lying if I didn’t share with you a third reason: financial benefits. I live in California, one of the most expensive places in the United States. And while I do make a living wage, that’s about all I make. I need to be able to retire some day, and don’t want to be a greeter at a discount store to make that happen. Since this company is brand new, there are opportunities for growth not available any place else. Because My Transformational Beauty’s products are based in proprietary, patented technology and science. That means the company is interested in promoting the product to further growth, not themselves. And that means financial growth for me.
